Super Blast Impulse

I was going to post something else today but when I saw this... I knew there was nothing else I could post about. This takes priority. You need to see this if you haven't already.
You need to see it now.

Here is the source.
When I look at something like this... I wonder how can people say that this hobby is for kids?!
And even though I'm well into my adult years... will my skills EVER reach this level?! My goodness...

  1. Damnit Gundam Seed Desinty, why must your mobile suits be so good looking?

This thing is awesome, nice find. I think you might be able to pull off something like that..You've certainly got the attention to detail. Just need some practice! ;D

  5. Speechles...

I'll stick to my status as being a 80% Gundam collector, 20% Gundam modeller (lolxxx... XD) Speaking of skills, i don't have time to learn or master as much as i can... no time to be a 100% modeller like all these pros...

After finishing my Pre-U, I'll be enrolling in Degree in Dentistry or Medicine. Speaking of these courses, i doubt i will have a lot of time for gunpla...

  6. ver Ed is awesome. His kits always look top notch. However, it seems he always does the same types of things with the aftermarket pistons around the torso, etc, and I would really like to see him change it up a bit.

  7. Those are one of the sickest mods for a 1/144 kit. I love his zeta archer series ^^. A friend pointed out to me that adding all these pistons somehow makes his kits less articulate. Its always a fixed pose.

  8. So he used a 1/144 Strike Freedom and turned it into a godhand Blast Impulse? That's one heck of a modding idea...

  9. When I first saw it, I was like "HOT DAMN A SWORD IMPULSE!... wait, no swords?!" xD. That freakin' BFG more than makes up for it though... well, it is Blast Impulse anyway haha.

I've seen some of his previous works before (mainly through your blog haha) and they never fail to impress. My favorite was his Hyaku Shiki :D

  10. Sure you can reach that level.

You just need the money to buy lots and lots of after market parts and the godly tools to modify the model.

    Specialised drills,cutters and such.

The Pros sure can't do stuff like this on a shoe string budget and a basic cutter.

    You need resources.

  13. yeah man here it is http://www.ver-ed.com/VerEd-KAI.html

tsukinari his seraphim is good but im with z here. i think his hyaku shiki is the best but that does suck about the fixed pose tho that chubby mentioned. still... if i made something like that i probably wouldnt touch it again after i finished with it.

lupes and anon i appreciate the positive comments about my skills. maybe practice is all it really takes! id love to try. i'd love to HAVE THE TIME to try lol.

k' - good luck with school. you'll be busy but its ok to do a little sd or hg now and then!

gaigun - i dont think he can do anything else. thats kind of his trademark now! it wouldnt be ver.ed if he didnt use the waist pistons.
