Main Event! Round 3!

VS.

&

Infinite Justice VS. Sword Calamity AND Sword Impulse

All CE suits so I don't want to hear any whining over technology from different universes. All suits have their base pilots. Ed Harrelson in SC and Shin Asuka in SI. You will recall that Althun defeated Shin in his Destiny suit using Infinite Justice. I think this is fair melee combat match.

Yeah it's two on one but Althun is a superior pilot with a superior MS that can seperate into 2 forms.

I love Infinite Justice the most so I'm going for that on principle. Opinions?!

  1. I would say IJ too.

Anti-Ship swords are too easily snapped.

Look no further to see the Gaia easily snap the Anti-Ship sword during their escape from Armory One.

  2. I agree. If the battle was taking place on Earth, IJ can just fly around dodging Impulse beam rifle and Calamity chest cannon until their power gives out.

Than he can go snipe them at leisure.

  3. I'm thinking IJ would win, simply because with big weapons, comes big weight.

(I don't know if that made sense, but still...)

  4. I.J. deffinitetly. Beams saber legs can own anything.

Would have been nice to see Athrun use those a couple more times

  5. IJ can use 7 beam blades at once. Hands: two basic beam saber in each hand, boomerang thrown, or combined basic beam sabers in one hand and boomerang in other hand. Legs: 2 beam sabers. Backpack: 2 wing beams.
SI and SC can use 8 beam blades combined: four boomerangs thrown and four anti-ship swords.

But it's still not a really fair match.
In prolonged fight, the sword calamity will begin to lose power, while IJ and SI (needs mothership though) can last. It'll become 1 on 1 match and IJ will definitely win.

  6. Ed and Shinn together could put up a great fight, though it wouldn't take Athrun long to take out Ed. Shinn might be able to fare better. He just needs to fight as smart as he did against Freedom. I figure it'd be based on who can outlast the other, and I see Athrun being able to do so based on him having more combat experience than Shinn. Plus those leg beam blades will always catch you off guard no matter what.

  7. IJ, Athrun was state to be the best pilot of CE, IJhas nuclear drive, can fly in the atmosphere, is unbelivably fast (based on Gundam Musou 2 but if I recal corectly it was damn fast in the Anime too) Fatum OO can be used as a huego Dragoon with both blades and powerfull cannons.
Do I need to keep going? I think it's clear by now...

  8. IJ because of what most ppl said he can stay in flight while the others are like grounded on the floor so i dont think dey could beat IJ and if it turned into a time battle the sword calamity would run out of phase shift (or trans phase shift) so yea

  9. infinite justice is one of my favourite suit, so of course i vote for it!! it is a bit sad that as a melee-oriented suit, IJ doesnt have big sword like GN sword 3. however, the blade beam on leg didnt lose out either ^^

  10. IJ, mainly because sword calamity isn't a threat for IJ (he can just shield the plasma beam) while Sword Impulse and Sword Calamity are not a flight MS type so IJ just fly and do a mid range attack.. (fatum, boomerang, grapple, etc) to finish one of them and go for the other..

  11. That what happens when you put 2 non-flight capable MS against a flight capable MS.

    The rape is obvious.

    It's like saying;

100 tanks vs a Gunship. Who wins?

  12. Remember... Athrun, still with injuries from the Gouf explosion, can still whoop Shinn's ass in Destiny with Infinite Justice >_>. And Athrun whooped him instantly again in the last episode just out of annoyance from not getting through to Shinn XD. The first-gen battery-powered non-flight-capable suits aren't going to hold very well against a nuke-powered melee monster xD

  13. Shows the power of a superior suit more than anything else.
