  1. I really appreciate you doing that. That will be great when I come to build mine and will save me much trawling. Organisation FTW!

  2. I agree. The Sinanju is on my list (hopefully will be starting it in a month or so) and it's good to know what to expect.

I will be painting mine as well. ;)

  4. haha thats not going to happen. if i could get a HG of Unicorn in MS mode than I'd consider it but that MG is too much for me. Range of motion isnt that great i hear. Anyway glad that some of you guys will be able to get some use out of this.

  5. Dude.. How could you not want a Unicorn opposite your Sinanju? The contrast would look awesome. I hear what you're saying about range of motion and difficulty though. Apparently it has issues with transforming, breaking/loose parts/scratching paint etc. Not that I can see mine making it out of MS mode as that's what I prefer. After seeing what Erix93 did with his unicorn in one of your older posts I was so inspired. I guess what I'm saying is regardless of the flaws with the kit, it's still a great looking design.

  6. yeah that guy went to town on his! dont get me wrong i think it looks cool but im really about range of motion and stability in a kit. look at my track record so far. PG Red Frame, Sinanju, MG Impulse, MG Infinite Justice... all pretty flexible and study kits (outside of the last two which were just 'reasonable' in the sturdiness category).

and just to clarify... its not that i dont WANT it. It's just priorities you know... other things are higher on the list for me. The titanium version doesnt look bad but i have a feel that we're going to see ANOTHER unicorn release more sooner than later.

  7. Thanks for all the pointers. I'm just starting to build my Sinanju.

  8. you're welcome! if that's the case and you're just starting you might want to think about taking a look at our Sinanju Group Build. Everyone is welcome! I'm sure it will be a learning experience for all of us. it already has been for me.

  9. i saw ur design on the paintjob on sinanju, and i just think that is fantastic.- in fact, that is exactly how i want my sinanju to look- i just finished building him today, but i think i want to paint it like urs, with a few minor differences- like the head- but yes- how did u paint urs? i bought some grey primer, flat black spray paint, gold, silver, and gloss topcoat.

  10. well thank you for your compliments first of all. i really appreciate that! imitation is the best form of flattery i suppose.

i used grey primer, metallic black, silver and gold gundam markers and semi gloss topcoat.

post a link when you're done! im curious to see what it looks like! thanks for your comment!

  11. well i have flat black, and gloss topcoat- would that yield the same result? i think ur take on it is almost perfect to me, but in the photos, the only thing that bothers me is the tiny facemask that sinanju has, and that you almost cannot see his eye distinguish from his face mask at all- maybe i think ill like the edge of the face gold- i cant wait how it will turn out- its my first time at painting a plamo

  12. no i dont think it would be exactly the same but pretty close. metallic black reflects the light a bit differently but its a small thing. it will be almost the same. yes i dont like the tiny eye slit either and im planning on changing that.

first time painting a plamo?! you should probably start with something easier i think. sinanju is pretty tough for your first one. the upside of that is that every plamo after will seem easy in comparison. good luck friend!

  13. haha thanks- well so far, al the kits i have are : Mg exia ignition mode (made him a few days ago), mg strike freedom, mg freedom exf, mg rx 78 4, mg shin musha, mg shining gundam, mg rx 178 mk ii aeug, mg strike + iwsp and a tt hongli mg strike freedom full burst mode. ( i only got it for the gold parts and stands- it was 28$ so why not)- those are the master grades i have, and i have mg god gundam, mg astray blue frame and rx 78 oyw coming in- i dont really have any kits that i want to do a custom color on except for the sinanju tho

  14. actually, my first plamo is technically exia repair on paint, but its so minor- all i did was dry brushing and detailing the eye- no spray paint work, unfortunately

  15. by the way, how did u put the decals on? did u put them on before u topcoated? or afterwards? i started painting mine today and im a little dissapointed with the gold i have- its a little too yellow. i like champagne gold but whatever, thats what brushwork is for lol

  16. before. yeah getting the gold right is a bit of a pain. good luck!

  17. ok so the paint is going well- i wish i cud send u photos- the thing is, how did u paint the laquered parts? like the collar chest, wrists, etc. did u prime that first as well?
