This set will deal with real life models made into scenes from the anime. The Zaku one is my favourite, but the one for Seed-Destiny is pretty cool too.
He didn't say these posters are new. And not everyone has all the issues of Hobby Japan, so is nice to see some of these posters. Keep them coming Busterbeam!!!
A lot of my traffic comes from these guys so it's only right that I give them their props. If you don't know about them (which you probably do if you found my blog) then you need to check'em out! Here are the top 3 referrers to Plamo Addiction.
1. Gundam Guy - This guy does it at all. News, reviews, updates regularly AND he even sells a bunch of mecha related stuff and did I mention that he also makes some damned impressive Gunpla as well? The source for all things Gundam.
2. Gunpla Inochi - My man Z has set his site up as one of the premier places to get Gunpla reviews in English. He goes for a "home look" for his stuff so that means light detailing, decal work and top coat. He is the matte coat king. His photography and poses are top notch + he has a bigger Gunpla collection than you and I don't even know you. Trust me.
3. Anahiem Machines - The other guys got into the blogging game after me but Sandrum has been a fixture in the community long before I stepped into the arena. Chances are that you've seen his work already if you like Gundam. While he's not a Gunpla modeler in the traditional sense of the word his Gundam art is second to none. I started my Flickr account because of him. Between the two of us we have more Gunpla pics than you'll ever need.
YO THESE MODELS ARE SICK!!!!

ReplyDeleteThat Zaku diorama looks awesome. Zakus just never gets old.
ReplyDeleteThese are supposed to be new posters? I saw the Zaku and Seed Destiny poster in Dengeki Hobby long ago, maybe last year or 2007.
ReplyDeleteFor the one I haven't seen though, that 00 Raiser looks pretty dull just floating there. lol
