Sinanju - Repair Log 2

Supplemental images to go along with this post. I know I'm super late posting this but better late than never (finally managed to get some free time).

Here he waits. I can almost here him saying "Will you hurry up and fix my goddamned arm already?!"

It's been long fixed, as much as I had the patience to manage at least. Pics to come soon.

  5. OMG the damage seems more serious than i thought. Those joints look like a metallic one that actually rusted and became brittle...

  6. ja1s - i fixed it already. as much as i could at least without ordering new parts.

marc - yeah me too. maybe just bad luck?

rusted look seems to have just been a side effect. doesnt look that bad but i wish it didnt behave like real rust!

  8. And that's why acryllics are Gunpla's best friend. That is Enamel or Lacquer, right?

  10. @Busterbeam

I heard Gundam marker inks are actually enamel inks. That makes it tough for me to get paints, because the online site i buy paints from sell Tamiya enamel paints more. Acrylic is pretty hard to find and i used PLAKA pelican brand which i bought from stationary shops, labelled "all purpose hobby paint, water soluble". I assumed it is acrylic, and it is. They work well on gunpla, but expect the paints to be scratched off if you use it to paint articulated joints.
