If you're visiting this blog then you will enjoy this video. I think we will all enjoy at least SOME aspect of it. This is the highest quality video I could find online but unfortunately the subs are in Arabic. My Japanese is good enough that I can understand this but let me just tell you now if you don't understand Japanese... What you think they're saying is what they're saying.
watched it and i must say it is pretty good, but i must say i pity Hi-Nu, it is such an awesome design, should be piloted by awesome pilot and now they're putting him in the greatest epic failure ever.
ReplyDeleteseriously, Beginning's head vulcans are the most unique concept ever
yeah im a bit sad about that too. this is the first time we see the hi-nu in animated action and look at what happens!
ReplyDeleteB-gundams head vulcans are crazy! i wonder whats going on there.
must say i kinda like the pink bawoo as well. im glad they made that into a girls suit. its pretty cool.
where the SUB?!! D:< (jk lol)
ReplyDeleteyoutube streams like snails on my line orz... gonna find raw or download somewhere >_<
actually the subs is Thailand language, not Arabic ^^;;
Hi-Nu lost. Not such a big surprise there. As a suit it is pretty lack luster without the funnels...
ReplyDeleteLOL! Thai! shows how much I know.
ReplyDeleteI think the best part of the Hi-Nu is supposed to be the psycho frame cockpit and better over all performance compared to Nu. But yes, the funnels are the main feature for sure.
Aaah been looking forward to this one, really want to play some Senjou no Kizuna now!
ReplyDeleteThis is working pretty well for marketing, now I really want a Beginning Gundam!
ReplyDeleteThat was actually pretty good. Whether or not it's a marketing ploy, I really like it. It actually makes me want to build a Gunpla with a custom color scheme.
Seems like only HGs are gonna be used in this show...
ReplyDeleteSeriously, why hasn't Japan invented this sort of game yet. A simluator cockpit would be pretty hard to make, sure, but its definately possible. Or maybe they're hinting something.
Either way, I'd totally bring out my custom GN-SX401 Stargazer Zero. What HG'd you bring to this, Buster?
Is feel unique watching the beginning part of this episode...cuz the way they portray the 1:1 Gundam & the gunpls store in anime was the way I remembered it from our visit last month. Good memories...
ReplyDeletejames - ive been getting back into it recently! they lowered the price to 300 yen/game so it seems a bit more reasonable now.
ReplyDeletejesta - i kind of take that for granted because i recolour all of my gundams but its cool to see original designs in an animation!
shaomu - seems that way. mg's dont look like they can fit in that haro. if this was ever made in the future it would be quite amazing! but the technology for the machine and the plamo would have to be pretty intense i think. stargazer! just watched that recently and became interested in it. me?... im know sure. thats a really good question actually!
g.g - i totally felt the same way. it was just like it!
Of course the Hi Nu lost. The pilot wasn't a Newtype, much less Amuro. Musn't forget that a mech is only as good as it's pilot.
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty nice take on Gunpla building, if a little romanticized. Does this mean guys who mod their kits have a big edge? What if someone came in with a Strike Freedom/Exia/Turn A/Victory kitbash hybrid?
It's oddly appropriate and funny that technical stuff about the models applies even in the virtual world there - the loose polycaps thing was a hoot^_^
Will this eventually turn into another Plamo Kyoshiro, perhaps?
great comment! it seems like a lot of emphasis could be put on modding. like if the way i tried to make the joints stronger in my sinanju because sacrificed movement. kitbashes might be outlawed though i think! haha
ReplyDeletegood points!
Hm...well, the Forever Gundam is a kitbash of the RX-78-2: It's just the classic Gundam with added blue armor. Very much the same way the Perfect Gundam is a kitbash in Plamo Kyoshiro. The Bear Acguy is an obvious kitbash of the Acguy as well.
ReplyDeleteAh! I hate to sound anal, but I gotta say for the sake of realism, if Haru only applied the foil sticker for the eye, with HIS BARE HANDS, then I would expect that to fall off in the middle of battle, leaving the Beginning Gundam half-blind ^_^
Imagine loosely-placed foil stickers coming off in a heated fight and being sticky all over your opponents!
